Our Mentors

Mentors at NTUitive are experienced individuals with strong professional backgrounds and industry wide networks. They are chosen on the basis of their considerable depth and range of experience in advising a business, an aptitude for coaching, good interpersonal skills and a strong desire and commitment to help young and budding entrepreneurs, and passion for starting and growing sustainable businesses. Mentors work with start-ups on the basis of their familiarity with areas of the start-ups’ business. All Mentors adhere to a strict Code of Conduct and confidentiality undertaking.

Michel Birnbaum

Michel’s career spans operational, advisory and investments internationally. He has managed close to 30 IPOs, follow-on debt/equity financings as well as M&A and Private Placement transactions and has held Board positions with a number of Technology & Media companies in US, Europe & Asia.

Edward Tay

Edward is a practicing lawyer specialising in corporate law and technology transfer. He has more than 15 years of experience advising founders of university spin-offs and other technology start-up companies.

Jagjit Singh

Jagjit is an experienced business leader with strong strategic skills, expertise in a wide range of industries, and deep knowledge of the Asia Pacific region.

Rahul Harkawat

A US based entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in creating new start-up businesses especially in the ICT vertical, Rahul is proficient in business strategy, new product positioning and building teams around new products. He has profitably-built start-ups in Information and Communication Technology business in the US and internationally.

T.S. Kee

Kee is a freelance IT and Telecom consultant specialising in the mobile industry. He has worked for both the government and several MNCs, and provided consultancy services for various projects involving emerging mobile, internet and enterprise enabling technologies and platforms.

TANG Pen San

Dr Tang has over 30 years of experience in in numerous top executive and advisory positions in the technology industry. He has extensive experience in management, electronics industry, ICT, consulting, corporate planning and development.

Bert Grobben

Bert is a seasoned executive with a 15 year MNC track record. He is an expert in consumer/customer insight, product and pipeline development, innovation strategy (Open Innovation and internal), continuous improvement processes, and portfolio expansion.

CHAN Kok Pun

Kok Pun retired from the private equity industry where he was an industry pioneer in a career that spans over 24 years and major economic cycles, covering mainly Singapore but also including China, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand and Philippines.

Mikey CHOW

Engineer turned entrepreneur, Mikey started his business venturing into the region, especially the China market since 1994. He has successfully co-founded and divested 5 companies and his entrepreneurial experience includes fund raising, corporate restructuring, setting strategic directions and cultivating relationships.
